Wow - time has flown by! I've been having a great time coming working on lots of gorgeous invitations for weddings, Bat and Bat Mitzvahs, a giant gala 10 year anniversary celebration for an organization, a golf party for a 70th birthday, etc. Invitations have been getting more and more custom and intricate with really fun colors, layers, die-cuts and other adornments. You can't look at some of these incredible invitations without smiling!
Meanwhile the holidays are coming and it's time to work on holiday cards. I feel so lucky to have Wendy Korenman joining my Letter Art team as our holiday card specialist. I feel confident that she will give my clients the best customer service possible, as they rightly expect from Letter Art. She's friendly, creative, thorough and fun to talk to. I couldn't be more excited! Please call now to schedule your appointment or if you prefer to shop online go to www.letterartonline.com to place your order with ease and have your cards delivered directly to your door.

Adorable, Fun Party Favors!
I love these! I recently received samples of party favor boxes I ordered at the National Stationery Show in NY. I had a blast decorating them in fun ways! Your imagination is the only limit with these boxes - they can be custom-tailored to ANY event using different colors of paper, ribbons, and other fun add-ons. Check out these designs! The little, rectangular box came with a brown ribbon around it and the words "We tied the knot!" printed on top. I covered up the wording with a beautiful flower, backed by chocolate paper, tied together with a gorgeous ribbon featuring a vibrant purple and a touch of lime green. Imagine how classy and whimsical that would look perched at the place setting of a tea party! Filled with yummy M&M's, of course.
Have a great weekend!

One More Thing

I couldn't end tonight's blog without mentioning an event I attended last night. I went to FIG (Fashion Industry Gallery) in downtown Dallas for the NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) 50th Anniversary Celebration. It was fun to sample the delicious cuisine from prominent caterers around the city. The decor was adorable. Each room was decorated to reminisce about a different decade over the past 50 years. And the company was great - I went with Dana Eisenberg, a newly established, talented and enthusiastic event planner. We were invited by Beth Berk of M&M Special Events. She's such a remarkable, talented woman! I'm a big fan. Check out the photo - that's me on the left and Dana on the right. And no, we didn't coordinate outfits in advance.
Awesome Teacher Gifts!

Hi, again!
Today was the last day of school for my older son. I walked him to school yesterday and carried his teacher gifts. I just love them! They are the coolest giant fortune cookies. They come in a clear bag with an adorable, colorful giant bow. I attached a sweet little gift tag to each one (between my two kids there were LOTS of teacher gifts!). It even comes with a personalized note inside the fortune cookie. The feedback has been great! If any of you are interested in ordering some, you can view them from my website. Go to www.letterartonline.com. Under "Shop by Vendor" select "Good Fortunes." Then email me your order and I'll get it placed for you.
A note of caution - if you live somewhere that's hot and you select a chocolate style, you'll want to have it overnighted. But if you select the caramel coating then you can send it two-day shipping, which is cheaper.
They're so YUMMY!

My first blog...
Hi!
This is my first attempt at blogging and I'm pretty excited about it. Any of you who know me know I'm crazy about fun, colorful papers and beautiful designs. Now's my chance to ramble on about it!
The best part about selling invitations is feeling the excitement when my clients come up with the perfect combinations of design and color to reflect their personality and the theme of their event. I also love that I get to meet so many nice people. It's great!
I recently returned from the National Stationery Show in NYC. This was my 6th year in a row attending the convention there! It's a BLAST. My friend Karen met me in NY this year - she lives in MD. Last year my friend Wendy came with me. I love to see all the new designs and meet my suppliers face-to-face. I also love walking the streets of Manhattan.
More at a later time...
